Seattle Region

Welcome to the Seattle Region!

The Seattle Region includes the states of Alaska, Northern California, Oregon, and Washington. The purpose of these regional pages is to provide region-specific tools, resources, events, news, and contacts.  Much of the Census organizing and work will occur on the ground and will be coordinated through the regional partners.  Check back to see updates from Indian Country Counts partners as they are posted. If you are part of a Complete Count Committee, are a tribal partnership specialist, or have an event or news item you would like to add to this regional page, contact NCAI and join the campaig

If you're interested in 2010 Census job opportunities in the Seattle Region, visit the region's employment page.

The Grande Ronde Tribe lost its official status with the federal government in 1954 and was disbanded. In the '70s, the tribe sought to restore itself by gathering dispersed members in a census of their own. Filling out the census ensures that your community has a say in its future.
